Sajipa Katu Bava
1890 – 1950
Katu Bava, born in 1890 to Unhaka and Fatima in Sajipa village of Bantwala taluk, was a respected figure known for his role in resolving disputes and grievances in the community. His home was a hub for local residents seeking solutions to their problems, and he was revered for his ability to listen patiently and provide assistance.
He extended his services beyond his village, participating in Panchayats both locally and in neighboring areas like Paravur.
As a prominent leader, Katu Bava was actively engaged in social work. His family members recall that those who sought his help never had to resort to police intervention again, attesting to his effectiveness in resolving conflicts. Known for his impartiality, he approached each situation with fairness and integrity. H
He served as the president of Sajipa Juma Masjid and was survived by three wives and 11 children upon his passing in 1950.
