Fakhruddin Iruvail
Fakhruddin Iruvail was born in 1963 at Poovanibettu in a small village called Iruvail near Moodbidre.
He worked as a minor civil contractor.
Literary Service:
Fakhruddin Iruvail has authored several stories and novels in Kannada and Beary. He effectively dealt with the problems of poverty, illiteracy and dowry in the Muslim society, in his stories, and emphasized the need for communal harmony. Some of his stories wonderfully depict the beauty of coexistence in Tulunadu. A soft-spoken person by nature, Fakhruddin Iruvail was a prolific writer who produced numerous stories as if he breathed literature. His stories were beautifully diverse and there were seldom repetition of the same themes. His first collection of stories Elliruve Nanna Kanda was released in the 12th D.K. District Kannada Sahitya Sammelana held in 2001. After this momentous launch, his writing career never had a downside.
