B.M. Basheer
B.M. Basheer was born on June 20, 1972 in Mata near Uppinangadi. He graduated from Government First Grade College, Uppinangady. He is a proud alumnus of the University of Mumbai where he was a gold medalist in MA Kannada Literature.
Career:
B.M. Basheer began his career in journalism at Karnataka Malla daily in Mumbai where he worked for 5 years. He worked as a senior editor at Janavahini daily for another 5 years. Currently he is the news editor in Vartha Bharati Kannada daily where he has been working for the last ten years.
