Motto/Mission

Bengaluru Beary Jamaat established during 2008 for the intention of giving religion education for our Beary community in and around R.T. Nagar Bangalore. The jamaath collectively establishes Madarasa to impart religious education to children with the approved syllabus. The Committee will look after the welfare of the jamaath Members, and create and maintain the infrastructure required for Muslims to perform all their religious and social obligations. Of late, Bengaluru, being the capital city and providing employment opportunities, is attracting a large number of people to Bengaluru, who eventually settle down in the City. The basic problem of the community is facing in Bengaluru is religion education.

Achievements

The Jamaath started a small Madarasa in Kanaka Nagar nearby R.T.Nagar with seven students. Alhamdulillah, the Madarasa has grown over the years, and now 75 students are studying in the Madarasa. Up to date 200+ students passed out.

Future plans

Purchase of Land, Construction of Masjid, Madarasa and Beary Community center.

(Now 75 students are studying in the Madarasa and due to shortage of place we cannot accommodate more students. Rs.1,00,000/- required per month for maintaining the same including rent, teachers’ salaries and other mise.expenditures, jamaat not having any permanent income for all these expenditures and collect donations from its members and well-wishers for this noble cause. The growth has created space constraints and efforts made to take a spacious building on rent to move the Madarasa are in vain as the landlords are averse to renting out their premises for religious purposes. Responding to the need, Bengaluru jamaath has searched for land for the construction of Masjid. The jamaath has found a suitable and convenient piece of land at Kanaka Nagar nearby R.T. Nagar for the construction of Masjid and madarasa. The land costs around Rs.150 lakhs and after the registration and obtaining the required permissions, the construction of Masjid and madarasa to be undertaken. The total cost of the project – site Purchase and construction cost and other amenities – is estimated around at Rs.3.50 crores. This dream can be realized with liberal contributions from the donors of Muslim Community.)
