Haji P.B Hussain Kunhi S/o Sadu Monu who was Zamindar in the River Side Hamlet of Ajilamogru, in today’s Bantwal taluk. Hussain Kunhi’s Paternal Lineage can be directly traced to Saduri Beary,Who formed and led a Battlion in support of Tippu Sultan and From his Maternal side, He is among the Seventh generation of the descendents of the Chamanad Mahinnka, who was a prominent supplier of ration to Tippu sultans Army.

After his Father’s Death, Hussain Kunhi moved to Mangalore and As an Enterprising Young Man, He ventured into Various Business Spanning Across Different sectors Including Spices, Hill Produce, Timber, Plantation, Manganese (Mines), Logistics and Other Entities. In Rubber Plantation he was the First License Holder of the Region.

In 1941, He Married C Asiamma, Daughter of C. Mahmood Saheb, a prominent Businessman, Educationist and Philanthropist of the region.

In Social and religious front, He was the founder member of Mangalore central Committee, President Ajilamogru Juma Masjid for 37 years, President Bolar Juma Masjid, President of Azaria Madarassa, and Treasurer of Muslim Educational Association.
