Ibrahim Sayeed was born on May 20, 1945. He was a B.Com graduate.

Ibrahim Sayeed served as the President of Shanti Prakashana and as the State President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. He knew Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, English, Malayalam, Beary and Arabic languages ​​and gave lectures in Kannada, Beary and Urdu languages ​​fluently.

He stayed as the first editor of Sanmarga weekly, established on April 23, 1973, till the end of his life. He has written more than 23 works including Sarva Dharma Samabhava and about 25 translated works. Most of his books have been published by Shanti Prakashana, Mangalore. His work Tappu Kalpanegalu has been translated into 10 languages.
