In a world often overshadowed by self-interest, there are individuals whose unwavering commitment to serving others shines brightly, illuminating paths of hope and compassion. Among them stands Sirajuddin Parladka, a man whose ordinary beginnings belie the extraordinary impact he has had on his community and beyond.

Born and raised in the remote village in Puttur named Parladka, Sirajuddin’s early years were marked by a sense of empathy and a desire to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. His education at St. Philomena High School in Puttur laid the foundation for his future endeavours, instilling in him values of diligence and compassion

In 2004, Sirajuddin embarked on a journey abroad, seeking opportunities to broaden his horizons and contribute to society in meaningful ways. His tenure in the Jumeirah Group of Hotels spanned five years, during which he honed his skills in hospitality and leadership. Completing a rigorous leadership training course at the Jumeirah Academy for Hospitality in 2008 further equipped him for the challenges that lay ahead.

Since 2009, Sirajuddin has served as the Assistant Manager in Hospitality at the Private Affairs Office of the Vice President of the UAE, a role that allows him to combine his professional expertise with his passion for social service. Amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Sirajuddin emerged as a beacon of hope, leading efforts to distribute food, facilitate the transfer of COVID patients to hospitals, arrange repatriation flights, and even oversee the dignified return of the deceased to their loved ones’ embrace.

Beyond his professional commitments, Sirajuddin’s altruistic spirit finds expression in his dedication to blood donation and community service. A regular blood donor and organizer of blood donation camps, he has touched the lives of countless individuals in need of life-saving transfusions. His contributions extend beyond borders, with initiatives spanning Karnataka, Kerala, and Dubai. His selflessness knows no bounds, having donated blood a staggering 48 times, including platelets on 41 occasions.

Sirajuddin’s impact reverberates not only through his acts of kindness but also through his role as a co-founder of Coastal Friends Mangalore, an organization dedicated to serving the community through education, sports, and awareness programs. His leadership in fostering camaraderie and promoting social welfare exemplifies the transformative power of collective action.

In recognition of his exemplary service, Sirajuddin has assumed managerial responsibilities at the Blood Help Line Karnataka (R) and serves as an executive member of the Bearys Welfare Forum (BWF) in Abudhabi. His tireless dedication to the welfare of others serves as an inspiration to all who have the privilege of crossing paths with him.
