Mustafa was born on November 1, 1972, to Usman Kempi and Zainaba in Kempi Majalu, near Uppinangadi in Puttur Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District. He completed his early education at Uppinangadi Government Senior Primary School, attended Uppinangadi Government High School for his 8th to 10th grades, and finished his PUC at Uppinangadi Government PU College. Mustafa earned his BCom degree from Uppinangadi Government Graduate College.

After graduating, Mustafa ventured into the fish and land businesses. Despite his business activities, he was deeply involved in social service, advocating against community injustices through various organizations.

Mustafa also played significant roles in social, religious, and political spheres. He served as the president of Malikuddinar Central Juma Masjid in Uppinangadi for around 15 years. His other roles included Uppinangadi Gram Panchayat Member, Dakshina Kannada District Waqf Advisory Committee Member, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District Muslim Central Committee Member, Vice President of Puttur Taluk United Jamaat, Vice President of Madannur Noorul Huda Islamic Academy, Vice President of Kammadi Islamic Center, Karnataka Communal Forum Central Committee Member, and President of Indian School.

Mustafa passed away on June 26, 2023, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, five sons, and two daughters. He was laid to rest at the Malikuddinar Central Juma Masjid Burial Ground in Uppinangadi.

ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕ ಹಾಜಿ ಮುಸ್ತಫಾ ಕೆಂಪಿ

ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪುತ್ತೂರು ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಉಪ್ಪಿನಂಗಡಿ ಸಮೀಪದ ಕೆಂಪಿ ಮಜಲು ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಉಸ್ಮಾನ್ ಕೆಂಪಿ-ಝೈನಬಾ ದಂಪತಿಯ ಪುತ್ರನಾಗಿ 1972ರ ನವಂಬರ್ 1ರಂದು ಮುಸ್ತಫಾ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಉಪ್ಪಿನಂಗಡಿ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 1ರಿಂದ 7ನೆ ತರಗತಿ, ಉಪ್ಪಿನಂಗಡಿ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 8ರಿಂದ 10ನೆ ತರಗತಿ, ಉಪ್ಪಿನಂಗಡಿ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಯುಸಿ, ಉಪ್ಪಿನಂಗಡಿ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪದವಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಕಾಂ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದರು.
ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮೀನು ಉದ್ಯಮ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಭೂವ್ಯವಹಾರವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕಾಲ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗುವ ಅನ್ಯಾಯದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತುವ ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಅವರು ಸುಮಾರು 15 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಉಪ್ಪಿನಂಗಡಿಯ ಮಾಲಿಕುದ್ದೀನಾರ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಜುಮಾ ಮಸೀದಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಉಪ್ಪಿನಂಗಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ವಕ್ಫ್ ಸಲಹಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ದಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಕಮಿಟಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ, ಪುತ್ತೂರು ತಾಲೂಕು ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಜಮಾಅತ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ, ಮಾಡನ್ನೂರು ನೂರುಲ್ ಹುದಾ ಇಸ್ಲಾಮಿಕ್ ಅಕಾಡಮಿಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ, ಕಮ್ಮಾಡಿ ಇಸ್ಲಾಮಿಕ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್‌ನ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೋಮು ಸೌಹಾರ್ದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ, ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್‌ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಅಲ್ಪಕಾಲದ ಅಸೌಖ್ಯದಿಂದ 2023ರ ಜೂನ್ 26ರಂದು ನಿಧನರಾದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪತ್ನಿ, ಐವರು ಪುತ್ರರು ಮತ್ತು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುತ್ರಿಯರಿದ್ದರು. ಉಪ್ಪಿನಂಗಡಿಯ ಮಾಲಿಕುದ್ದೀನಾರ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಜುಮಾ ಮಸೀದಿಯ ದಫನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
